Michelle Felten holds an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theatre (A.C.T.) and a BA from UC Irvine and currently serves as a Professor of Acting and Voice at CSU, Sacramento. A member of both Actor’s Equity and the Screen Actors Guild, her extensive performing resume includes: the national touring shows; off-Broadway; and world premieres; and leading roles in regional productions of Evita, I Do! I Do! Man of La Mancha, and Annie Get Your Gun. Professor Felten is very active with the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and was recently honored as the recipient of the Horace Robinson Award for her many contributions. As Co-Vice Chair of Region VII, Michelle is the Host/Coordinator of The Evening of Invitational Scenes on Monday evening at the Bing Crosby Theatre, and leading the Respondent Workshop on Thursday at 3 pm.
