Roman Sanchez (he/him) is a Theatre Producer, Director, and Educator who currently works with the Artistic Team at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Most recently, he was the Program Analyst & Specialist for the California Arts Council, managing and supporting the state’s Arts in Corrections, Reentry Through the Arts, and Emerging Artist Fellowship programs. Past and current affiliations include: California Arts Council, Lime Arts Productions, Teatro Espejo, Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, Theatre Workers Project, Redwood Curtain Theatre, and Ferndale Repertory Theatre. He is also the author of Preparing For College Theatre: A Guide For Performers, Technicians, and Designers. He is an Herb Alpert Theatre recipient, was one of American Theatre's "6 Theatre Practitioners You Should Know", and is a proud member of SDC.
