Natashia Lindsey received her Ph.D. in Performance as Public Practice at The University of Texas at Austin. She previously earned her bachelor of science and master of arts degrees in Pan-African Studies from the University of Louisville. Broadly, her research examines the many intersections of performance and race. She is currently an instructor at Central Washington University where she teaches Theatre History, Race and Performance, Bodies in Performance, and Dramaturgy.
